October is a time for us to celebrate America’s workers with disabilities and continue to raise educate us about the value of a diverse workforce. It’s important for employers to create an inclusive environment that gives every individual an equal opportunity to contribute and succeed.
2rbConsulting is excited to be attending the 15th Annual ManpowerGroup Supplier Diversity Roundtable in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This event will bring together a multitude of diverse suppliers from across the United States including minority, veteran, LGBT, small & women-owned staffing and procurement businesses.
In the United States, there are over 56 million people with disabilities; that’s one in five Americans. As the largest minority, it is no surprise that technology is becoming more accessible to people with disabilities, which in turn is driving innovative breakthroughs from both companies and people with disabilities.
The 2rbConsulting leadership team attended the Tech Inclusion Seattle conference, hosted by Change Catalyst, at Galvanize in Seattle. The first day of this 2-day event included a full day of speakers and networking, while the second day of the event included a career fair.
In late June, the 2rbConsulting leadership team attended the WBENC National Conference in Las Vegas. This year’s annual event was an even bigger deal than usual, as WBENC celebrated 20 years of history.
2rbConsulting is excited to be attending and sponsoring the USBLN National Conference in Orlando, Florida in August 2017. USBLN (US Business Leadership Network) drives success through Disability inclusion.
2rbConsulting, N-Side Out Housing & Supportive Services, Reach House Association, and Veterans Independent Enterprises of Washington (V.I.E.W) came together to provide lunch for 150 amazing kids from JBLM at the 15 to 1: Jermaine Kearse Foundation.
